Toyota Aero Rear Spoiler – Original OEM Homologation Wing (GT86 / BRZ)

Factory aero, registration-free on GT86 VFL and cleanly adaptable to all other models.

The original Toyota Aero rear spoiler is part of the type approval (homologation) of the Toyota GT86 pre-facelift and is therefore legal without registration for all VFL models (2012–2016).
For facelift GT86 models and the Subaru BRZ, individual inspection is usually required – however, approval chances are generally high, as many inspectors reference the VFL homologation.

This makes it one of the cleanest technical and legal solutions for OEM styling combined with functional aero design.

Drill Pattern & Compatibility

If another spoiler was previously installed, the original mounting holes remain usable.

For those who want a completely smooth rear end without OEM drill holes, we recommend a GFRP trunk lid (e.g. Spiller) as a clean solution without the factory mounting pattern.

Differences to Replica Spoilers (How to Identify OEM)

Replica GT86 spoilers are relatively easy to spot. Typical features of the genuine OEM spoiler include:

Three distinctive service flaps per side on the underside

Integrated underside breakaway protection

Original Subaru part number marking

Many replicas lack these reinforcements and structural details, or only imitate them superficially.

Design & Impression

The spoiler subtly extends the rear profile and maintains a factory-authentic appearance without looking overdone.

Painted in body color, it enhances the GT86/BRZ with a harmonious, slightly lowered look. In contrast color, it creates a sportier accent while still preserving the OEM character.
