From the factory, rear camber cannot be directly corrected. Why adjust rear camber?

In the 86 and BRZ, the rear axle is crucial for vehicle balance. When the vehicle is lowered, the camber on the rear axle often changes towards more negative. While this may look good visually, it's not always ideal for driving dynamics.

For a neutral setup, the rear axle should remain stable, but not lose unnecessary grip due to unfavorable tire contact or make the car sluggish. With the SuperPro SPF3107K kit, the rear camber can be precisely corrected and better matched to the front axle, tires, suspension, and intended use.

Small alternative to control arms

For those who don't want to install completely adjustable rear control arms, this bushing kit offers a discreet and high-quality solution for geometry correction. The near-standard control arms are retained, while the eccentric bushings allow for adjustment of the axle geometry.

A maximum camber correction of 1° is possible according to the manufacturer.

This is particularly interesting for vehicles that should remain as inconspicuous and suitable for everyday use as possible, but still receive a more sensible suspension setup.

Installation note

The bushings are inserted into the inner bearing positions of the rear lower control arms. For installation, the control arms must be removed and the original bushings pressed out. Installation should be performed with suitable pressing tools and appropriate experience.

Wheel alignment is absolutely essential after installation. Only with alignment can the full potential of camber correction be utilized and the vehicle precisely tuned for the desired purpose.

Installation is quite complex and is rated at 4 hours. Should be performed by a specialist workshop.

Note

The bushings are not infinitely adjustable directly on the vehicle like an adjustable control arm. The geometry change occurs through the eccentric design and the correct installation position of the bushings. For maximum adjustability, an adjustable control arm remains the more comprehensive solution, but for many sporty street and track day setups, this kit is the significantly more compact and discreet alternative.
