Our 6-piece underbody brace set takes your suspension to the next level – specially designed for the Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ platform, Generation 1 & 2.

What's in it – and what does it do?
Front:
– 2x Control Arm Braces: replace the factory plates – for more direct steering and better feedback
– 1x Main Brace behind the engine: massive gain in torsional rigidity in the front axle area

Rear:
– 2x Axle Braces: additional cross connections for more stability when accelerating out of corners
– 1x Rear Brace behind the bumper: reduces movement in the rearmost part of the vehicle – ideal for sporty driving

And mounting hardware

Why exactly these points?
TRD already showed with the first 86 platform how effective targeted underbody reinforcements can be. We base our design on similar starting points – complemented by our own practical experience – thus achieving a noticeable improvement in driving dynamics. Manufacturers like Hardrace or Cusco also pursue similar stiffening concepts – although often not as a complete solution. And certainly not at this price.

Note: The small front reinforcements replace the factory plates, all other parts are additionally installed – no permanent modifications necessary. Exception for Gen2 (GR86/BRZ II) - here 2 small plates are already factory-installed for the main front brace - these will then be replaced by our brace.

Suspension tuning with purpose – for all who want to get more out of their chassis without sacrificing everyday usability.

Optionally, we also offer the complete suspension kit with front & rear strut braces at a special price! Only here is the distinction for Gen1 and 2 important for the front strut brace. Otherwise, this option has no effect.

Registration Topic

Strut braces are not subject to registration in Germany (as the nice people from TÜV SÜD even confirmed to us on Instagram). However, some inspectors register them for safety reasons. Our braces are massively manufactured and are in no way inferior to those of other manufacturers. However, we do not provide a certificate.

From our point of view, this also applies to all stiffening braces for the underbody. If you are unsure, please discuss it with your inspector BEFOREHAND. If in doubt, Toyota also has the certificate for TRD underbody braces, which proves that no disadvantages are to be expected from additional underbody stiffening. The strength is ensured by the original mounting points and the material itself is massive. In addition, we have now integrated a part number on each part to make registration and assignment easier for you.
