GR86 Cup Intake – Cup-Style Intake (FA24)

For Toyota GR86 & Subaru BRZ (from 2022)

The Cup intake is based on the US Cup setup: a larger filter and a more direct intake path – tuned to the stock version without any ECU modification. The idea originates from the US, where Toyota sells the GR Performance Air Intake as an aftermarket part (PTR03-18221). It's not officially listed in Europe.

Driving experience & expectation management

The primary effect is sound and throttle response . User reports show that no noticeable performance gains are to be expected; the visual and sound upgrades are the primary consideration. There are reports from the US forum that demonstrate a performance increase, but this is minimal. It should also be noted, however, that of all the intakes on the market, this one will likely deliver the most power, and it's also OEM.

• Also fits the OEM Schorchel front, but we recommend the shortened intake from 86pARTs
