We are offering the Aisin door stabilizer for the GT 86 (12-20) and BRZ I here. These come complete with a mounting kit. There is only an expert opinion from Toyota for the TRD part, which can generally be used as a comparative report if you wish to have it registered.
This is 1:1 the same set as the TRD one, which is unfortunately no longer produced, except that it has the Aisin logo instead of the TRD logo. Aisin was the supplier that manufactured these parts for TRD at the time!
This set offers more than just looks, as you might be used to. By stabilizing your door, you help the car achieve better overall rigidity. The door no longer has any play as it did before, but is now better connected to the body on the latch side, thus becoming a single unit. This, of course, does not affect the functionality of the door or the locking mechanism.
