Customize & order – here's how
1) Choose a suitable base
Our focus is clearly on the 86 and BRZ models. However, we will be offering more and more models in the future, such as the Mazda RX-8 and the Supra MK V. Select your car or inquire using the form below.
Of course, we have to be able to offer the right skeleton. Pay close attention to equipment and facelift differences; often, mounts, trim, or multimedia controls differ.
2) Choose main material
Carbon or Alcantara - that is the question! First, decide to find the right product in the shop. Then you can select the individual types. When referring to the main material, we're always talking about the top/bottom area.
3) Select grip surface
Choose your grip surface to match. In addition to perforated sports leather, we also offer genuine leather or Alcantara in various colors. Browse through our selection!
4) Color of the seam and 12 o'clock mark
Choose the matching color for the seam and 12 o'clock marker from our catalog. The 12 o'clock marker can, of course, be removed for a clean look.
5) Other requests
We can make a lot of things possible! Don't want a thumb rest? Doable! Instead of a 12 o'clock mark, would you prefer an 11 and 1 o'clock mark? Easy! But please let us know beforehand and clarify things.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the airbag remain?
Yes, the original airbag and multimedia buttons remain (plug & play). You continue to use the original parts.
Do I have to send you my old steering wheel?
No! These are not exchange or deposit items. You can keep your old steering wheel.
What does the TÜV think about this?
Our supplier usually uses the original frame, and since you continue to use the airbag and horn, for us it's like re-seating and adding more upholstery. A tolerated gray area. At least with Alcantara, we don't see any problems at all. We haven't had any issues with the carbon fiber either, but we don't have any expert opinions, and theoretically, you could get a real headache out of it... So, if in doubt, please discuss it with your inspector beforehand! We don't provide any paperwork!
Where do you have all this done?
We're completely transparent about this: Asia. We simply can't offer you those prices in Europe. But the quality is simply top-notch. This is why the delivery times are always so long, as we always order dozens of the same items, not just one at a time, to optimize shipping costs.
