Strongflex PU sway bar bushings are the perfect upgrade for anyone looking to tune their suspension to be more direct, precise, and durable. These bushings replace the original rubber sway bar bushings, ensuring the sway bar can operate more cleanly and directly.

Especially in vehicles driven in a sporty manner, standard rubber bushings are often a compromise between comfort, cost, and durability. They can deform significantly under load, causing a loss of sway bar effectiveness. PU bushings are much more dimensionally stable and transmit forces more directly. The vehicle reacts more precisely to steering inputs and feels more connected, especially during rapid load changes.

With a hardness of 90 ShA, these Strongflex bushings are ideally suited for sports and tuned vehicles. They offer a noticeably firmer connection for the sway bar without becoming completely uncompromising.

Why PU sway bar bushings?

Polyurethane bushings are significantly more durable than classic rubber bushings. They age more slowly, are less prone to deformation, and ensure more consistent suspension geometry under load. This is particularly beneficial for the sway bar, as it can only work properly when guided stably and without play.

The result is a more direct driving feel, less unwanted movement in the suspension, and better utilization of the sway bar's effect. PU sway bar bushings are a small but highly effective upgrade, especially when combined with sportier sway bars, suspension systems, or track day setups.

Our Strongflex sway bar bushings are intentionally black. This keeps them visually subtle, making them barely noticeable once installed. Ideal for those who want a high-quality suspension upgrade without needing flashy PU colors in the underbody area.

Installation note

The bushings are installed in place of the original sway bar bushings. Depending on the vehicle and sway bar, installation may be possible without major disassembly; however, the vehicle should be lifted safely and the installation carried out professionally.

For a long service life and noise-free operation, PU bushings should be installed using suitable PU bushing grease (included in the scope of delivery).
